Carmen Andrews loves outdoor life and sport. And she has a passion for mountain biking and running! As the mom two young children, she understands the physical toll pregnancy takes on the body and the very real challenge of getting fit again.
She also understands the demands of training for endurance events and the injuries which may come along with them…
She has competed at national level in track events, has achieved a sub-40 min 10 km, and has participated in adventure racing and trail running.
She has successfully completed the ABSA Cape Epic, Joburg2c twice and the Cape Pioneer as a solo lady with 2 stage wins.
Carmen extended her education and practice to support and educate women in their post-natal recovery and return to training.
Carmen A’s goal is to empower and inspire you in your recovery. It is important to her that you understand your body, your injury, and achieve your optimal level of health and fitness after an injury. She’s driven to provide the best care for her patients and their injuries.
Carmen Andrews holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy (UCT), is a post-grad OMT (level 1, SASP) trained physiotherapist, is a certified Mummy MOT practitioner, and is currently completing the SASP Woman’s Health course this year. She has a passion for continued education.
She has 16 years of experience in treating neuro-muscular-skeletal and sport injuries, and has established a great referral network with doctors and other health care professionals, ensuring that you get the most comprehensive care.
