Having had experience in many different areas in the nutrition and food food industry before venturing into private consulting, she works with a wide range of nutrition and health related issues and has a special interest in general health during the lifecycle – pregnancy to old age, children’s developmental nutrition, auto-immune diseases, stress related diseases and general chronic diseases of lifestyle.
Her goal is to motivate clients to make sustainable life-long changes. She enjoys reading and stays up-to-date with the latest nutrition and scientific research.
She is a firm believer in personalised nutrition, and she tailors her clients’ plans according to their individual needs. This passion for personalised nutrition has led her to become one of the pioneers for dietary, food and nutrition technology in South Africa. Finding the link between the dietitian, consumer and the industry by using technology, is her motivation behind partnering with the Irish Company, Nutritics, a global leader in the provision of nutrition and food management systems.
Beyond all of the above, and her most challenging yet most rewarding position is being a wife and mom to two boys and one girl.
